Happiness in the Real World

Practical Tips for Living a Life of Happiness in the Midst of Chaos

About this Workshop:

This workshop will talk about the nature of happiness: what it is, how we can have more of it in our lives, and how we can avoid happiness-saboteurs, those common behaviors and ways of thinking that detract from our overall levels of well-being.

Incorporating the latest happiness research, we will do written exercises that will help participants:

  • Feel happier
  • Think deeply about their current lives, and
  • Brainstorm new ideas for better lifestyle design, including crafting the essential elements of your perfect day

We will also introduce students to meditation and Kundalini Yoga (the Yoga of Awareness). We will learn meditative exercises and Kundalini Yoga breathing techniques and learn how to reduce stress levels without medication.
